The 2025 edition was no exception, delivering plenty of standout moments across the week of competition as athletes showcased their talent against the nation's best.
Before this year's track and field competition begins, here's a look back at some of the biggest highlights and most memorable performances from the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics.
Amari Scott - 400M Hurdles
Amari Scott delivered one of the standout performances of the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics in the boys 15-16 400-meter hurdles. Scott first clocked a record-breaking 51.30 in the preliminary round, eclipsing the previous AAU Junior Olympics mark of 51.77 that Robert Griffin III had held since 2006. He wasn't finished there, returning in the final to lower the record again with a winning time of 51.14 and cap off one of the meet's most memorable performances.

Run It Sports - 4x100m Relay
Run It Sports delivered one of the top relay performances of the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics in the girls 10-year-old 4x100-meter relay. The team matched the AAU Junior Olympics and national record with a time of 52.24 in the preliminary round before breaking it in the final with a winning time of 51.22. The Run It Sports squad featured London Lee, Christina McDougle, Malaya Feby, Jurnee Smith, and Kaila Perry.
Asher Denman - 200m Dash
Asher Denman turned in one of the fastest performances of the meet in the boys 8-under 200-meter dash. Representing Pearland Speed Track Club, Denman sprinted to victory in 27.26, setting both a new AAU Junior Olympics record and a national age-group record. His record-breaking run added another unforgettable moment to the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics and cemented his place among the meet's standout performers.
San Antonio Swift - 4x800m Relay
The San Antonio Swift delivered one of the meet's most impressive relay performances in the boys 17-18 4x800-meter relay. Benjamin Tealer, Christopher Esparza, Silas Gonzalez, and Michael Perez-Gallagher combined to run a national record time of 7:54.73, securing the championship in dominant fashion. Perez-Gallagher anchored the record-setting effort with the fastest split on the team, clocking an impressive 1:53.269 to help cap off one of the top moments of the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics.
