Day 5 of the AAU Junior Olympics is here, and the 2000m steeplechase champions delivered standout performances across all four age divisions at the 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games. 

Ruah Franzmann-Simmert pulled away for the women's 17–18 crown in 6:52.07 to set a new Junior Olympic Games record.

Talan Sievers dominated the men's 17–18 race in 6:03.19, while Carter Lippold claimed the boys 15–16 title in 6:25.50. 

Irma Jimenez captured the girls 15–16 championship with a winning time of 7:27.43. Each winner finished with a comfortable margin over the rest of the field, highlighting impressive front-running efforts.
