There's a new record in the 2000m steeplechase! In just the second event coming out of a long weather delay, Ruah Franzmann-Simmert makes Junior Olympic Games history in the steeplechase.

Franzmann-Simmert set a record in the 17-18 age division with a 6:52.07, a games record. She beat second-place by nearly 40 seconds.
