Brandt Cook set a new record for the 13-year-old Boys 100m at the AAU Junior Olympic Games.

The first record of the boys 100m races at the 2026 AAU Junior Olympics has been conquered. Brandt Cook ran the first sub-11 time in race history to set a new record.

Cook's 10.92 was nearly two-tenths of a second faster than the previous record of 11.09 sent in 2021. He also finished well-ahead of second place at 11.34.

Multiple records have been broken during the final day of competition during the 2026 AAU Junior Olympics in both field events and running events.
