Keely Hodgkinson has withdrawn from the women’s 800m at Diamond League Zurich.
The English superstar and Olympic Gold Medalist was set to take the track alongside her fellow countrywoman Georgia Hunter Bell and rival Audrey Werro, but she isn't physically ready to race yet.

She last competed at the 2026 European Championships, finishing in second behind Werro in the 800m to claim Silver with a 1:55.01.
The women’s 800m field at Zurich Diamond League is still loaded with talent, but it’s always a massive loss when one of the “Big Three” drops out of the race.
Why Did Keely Hodgkinson Drop Out Of Zurich Diamond League 2026?
Keely Hodgkinson released a short statement to the media describing why she made the decision to drop out of Zurich Diamond League 2026.
"Unfortunately the body isn't quite ready to race again after the European Championships,” she said. “We've made the decision to skip this race and get ready for the next one, sad to miss it, hopefully see you next year!"
While she won’t compete against the best this week, Hodgkinson is expected to participate in the 2026 Diamond League Final in Brussels.
