Audrey Werrodelivered a performance to remember on home soil at the 2026 Diamond League Zurich, winning the women’s 800m in spectacular fashion.

Werro clocked 1:53.70 to set a new Swiss national record, Diamond League record and meeting record. Her time also moved her to the top of the world rankings, making the victory even more impressive.

Femke Broeders-Bol followed in 1:54.71 with a national record, while Georgia Hunter Bell finished third in 1:55.03. The race produced a thrilling battle from start to finish.

For Werro, it was the perfect way to light up Letzigrund Stadium. Racing in front of her home crowd, she delivered one of the biggest performances of her career when it mattered most.
