Day 2 featured record-breaking performances, including Alison dos Santos’ meet record in the men’s 400m hurdles and Masai Russell’s meet record in the women’s 100m hurdles.

Audrey Werro also edged Femke Bol in a dramatic photo finish in the women’s 800m, while Birhanu Balew won the men’s 5000m with an Asian record.
