Three-time Olympic champion Gabby Thomas will return to the track Tuesday when she competes at the World Athletics Continental Tour meeting in Rovereto, Italy, live on FloTrack. The Palio Città della Quercian meeting is part of the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver series and will bring together athletes from 43 countries.

Thomas will headline the women’s sprint action, where she is scheduled to compete in the 100m. The event will mark her first competition since she ran the 200m at London Diamond League on July 18 and placed second in 21.81. She'll line up in the 100m for the first time since achieving her first career sub-11 in the event at the Continental Tour's Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi, Kenya on April 24.

The Rovereto meet gives Thomas another opportunity to test herself late in the 2026 season. She has previously been announced as a headliner for Athlos London on September 18.

Thomas will be joined in the 100m in Rovereto by her training partner Cambrea Sturgis (SB: 10.92). The meet features a strong international field, including Italian star Nadia Battocletti and Olympic champion Kirani James.
