A Georgia woman was disqualified from the Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon on Saturday for recording unthinkable splits.
Tabatha Hamilton was believed to run the first half of the race in 2:06:51. She then finished the race in 2:55:39, officially. While the time is likely for a woman’s marathon, her splits indicate that she ran 3:37 per mile for the latter half of the race.
