El Guerrouj Among 2014 IAAF HoF Inductees
World Record holder and middle distance star Hicham El Guerrouj is among the 12 legends inducted into the IAAF's 2014 Hall of Fame class announced on Tuesday. Valeriy Brumel (URS), Glenn Davis (USA), Heike Drechsler (GER), Marita Koch (GDR), Robert Korzeniowski (POL), Janis Lusis (URS), Bob Mathias (USA), Wilma Rudolph (USA), Shirley Strickland de la Hunty (AUS), Lasse Viren (FIN), Cornelius Warmerdam (USA) are the other 11 members to be honored at Monaco's World Athletics Gala on Nov. 21.
All members of the sport have been retired for a minimum of 10 years.
