FloTrack Flashback: Chad Noelle After 2010 Foot Locker Championships
The video above features a 17-year-old Chad Noelle after his 2nd ever cross country race at Foot Locker Nationals in 2010. Chad talks about his expectations coming into Foot Locker, his performance at the race, and also his plans for the future. When asked about the upcoming track season, Noelle says he is looking to “hit some really good times” and “win some really big races."
Five years later, Noelle got the job done.
After running a 3:38.35 1500m at the Payton Jordan Invitational, Noelle was the man to beat sitting at #1 on the NCAA leaderboard for the last half of the season. This past weekend, Oklahoma State’s Noelle lived up to the number as he walked away victorious from the extremely tactical 1500m final last Friday at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
