TCU's Baker Shatters NCAA Champs 60m Record With 6.47
Ronnie Baker defended his NCAA 60m title on Saturday, and he did it in record-breaking fashion as his 6.47 was good for the NCAA Championships record. That time is the fastest in the World for 2016, and the #3 time in collegiate history.

The previous meet record of 6.51 was held by Clemson's Jacoby Ford since 2009.

Baker got the trophy, but Houston’s Cameron Burrell came away with a spiffy 6.48 consolation prize for 2nd. This marks the first time in NCAA history that two men have broke 6.50 in one race.

We'll have more shortly.
