Watch The Oregon Women Crush The NCAA Indoor Meet Points Record

Kirby Lee - USA TODAY Sports
Oregon's women smoked the NCAA meet record for points, putting up 84. The old standard was Texas's 71, set 29 years ago, and the scary part is that they could have crushed it by even more. Deajah Stevens broke the 200m American record in the prelims, but was disqualified for stepping on her lane. Their NCAA record-breaking DMR only finished third.

COMPLETE RESULTS

Watch every single point Oregon scored:

Hannah Cunliffe, Ariana Washington, and Deajah Stevens went 1-3-5 in the 60 final

Sasha Wallace won the 60 hurdles and Alaysha Johnson was 8th.

Raevyn Rogers won the 800m

Washington and Cunliffe went 1-2 in the 200m, with Washington coming up just 0.02 shy of the collegiate record.

Katie Rainsberger and Sam Nadel went 3-4 in the 3K

They took second in the 4x400m relay in 3:27.07, faster than the old collegiate record

Rainsberger anchored their DMR to third place in a wild finish

USA Outdoor Champs: Confidence Picks Featuring Iowans Returning to Iowa

Sure, there isn't a world team to make this year, but there is plenty on the line in Des Moines. These are the things we are most confident about.

The sprint and hurdle events at the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships represent a changing of the guard as many top-ranked veterans are opting to skip the event entirely to rehabilitate injuries, or simply prep for the European summer circuit. Expect Des Moines to produce a slew of fresh-faced champions, many of whom we predict will be showing out straight from the college ranks.
