NCAA To Grant Another Season Of Eligibility To Spring Athletes
The NCAA will grant another season of eligibility to all spring athletes who had their 2020 seasons canceled on Thursday.
In the wake of an unprecedented mass cancellation of NCAA championships for all winter and spring sports on Thursday due to the coronavirus pandemic, the collegiate association is reportedly prepared to grant spring athletes another season of eligibility according to NCAA basketball reporter Jeff Goodman. The topic is also being discussed for winter athletes.

The NCAA’s DI Council Coordination Committee acted swiftly to provide another season of eligibility for spring athletes as their seasons in many cases were called before they even began.
On Thursday, the NCAA’s broad cancellation of all remaining championships for this school year occurred just a day before the 2020 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships were set to begin across all three divisions.
