DRIVEN: Alexa Efraimson (Episode 1)

Jan 28, 2015

It was clear that Alexa Efraimson was a special talent when her high school coach first spotted the 8th grader at a middle school race. Rising quickly to the top prep levels during her freshman year, Efraimson qualified for the Dream Mile and ran 4:42. No other freshman had ever qualified for the event. Success kept coming, and in 2013 Efraimson won bronze at the World Youth Championships in Donetsk, Ukraine in the 1500m. Suddenly, Efraimson was on the national radar and needed more competition to test her growing talent. Little did she know how that competition would change the course of her career.
