INSIDE: Georgetown (Episode 1)

Jan 7, 2015

Less than a year after winning the 2011 NCAA XC Championships, the Georgetown women learned that coach Chris Miltenberg had accepted the job at Stanford. Feeling abandoned, the Hoyas waited to see who would lead them next. In came Mike Smith, a former Hoya who had worked with coaching legend Jack Daniels in Flagstaff before returning to coach his alma mater. After Georgetown struggled to a 12th place finish in Smith's first season in 2012, the young coach knew things had to change. His message? Buy in, or get out.
