You are watching the Merrill Fischbein Men's Gold D1 8k Race at the 2011 Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota. In this year's race, Lawi Lalang breaks the Griak course record by 23 seconds running a 23:15 for the 8k course. Lalang breaks the record of Kip Kangogo of BYU. On the team side, the #11 North Carolina State Wolfpack came out on top with the #10 Portland Pilots coming in second.
