B Mile (Dream Mile Qualifier - Haney 4:11)

After a tactical first half mile, things really began moving in the mile as 15 boys vied for a qualifying spot to the adidas Dream Mile. Blake Haney of Stockdale High in Bakersfield stormed to the lead with 250 meters to go and won the race by nearly 1.5 seconds. Nicholas Plumb of Trabuco Hills finished second while Monta Vista's Kevin Bishop was third.
