Candace Hill's 100m World Youth, National High School Record

“I did not just see what I just saw,” Oh yes, world, you did. Candace Hill ran 10.98 at the 2015 Brooks PR Invitational en route to a World Youth Record and national high school record.

The race speaks for itself, ESPECIALLY Lincoln and JimmyÂ’s unforgettable disbelief in what they just witnessed.

16-year-old Hill was good as a high school freshman in 2014, but she became an international superstar this spring as a sophomore. She is the first high school prep to ever break 11 seconds in the 100m and at the time, it was the 10th fastest mark in the world. After the race she said she could not have expected to run that fast that early in her prep career, and now weÂ’ll really get to see how fast Hill can go. Recently she became the youngest pro sprinter in America by signing a multi-year deal with ASICS.
