Prefontaine Classic 2025 Results: See How The Stars Performed In Eugene
The 2025 Prefontaine Classic is complete, here's how all of the stars did at the 50th year of the legendary meet.
The 2025 Prefontaine Classic has wrapped up, and the stars performed at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, and the 50th running of the event did not disappoint.

- Faith Kipyegon Runs 4:06 Mile
Alison dos Santos started the afternoon off by beating Rai Benjamin in the 400M hurdles, a rivalry that's been ongoing for years. In the women's 5,000m, Beatrice Chebet shattered the world record and became the first woman to run under 14:00 in the event. Tara Davis-Woodhall did what she does best and used her last jump to win the long jump with a distance of 7.07M.
Sydney Mclaughlin-Levrone won the 400M and was less than one second off the world lead. Winfred Yavi took the world lead and set a new meet record in the 3000M Steeplechase, defeating Faith Cherotich.
Letslie Tebogo defended his title in the men's 200M, striding across the finish line to take the world lead. 20-year-old Niels Laros stunned the field, leaning across the finish line to beat Yared Nuguse in the Bowerman Mile.
Melissa Jefferson-Wooden defeated Julien Alfred in the women's 100M, handing the Olympic Champion her first loss of the season. Weeks after setting her own world record in the mile, Faith Kipyegon closed out the event by setting a new world record in the 1500m, with a time of 3:48.68.
