BAUHAUS Galan Indoor: Notable Entries

Kishane Thompson, along with twin sisters Tia and Tina Clayton, headline this week’s BAUHAUS Galan Indoor meet in Stockholm, bringing elite championship pedigree to the men’s and women’s 60 meters. All three athletes train under renowned coach Stephen Francis of Jamaica’s MVP Track Club and will look to make an early-season statement on the indoor stage.

Thompson is set for a high-profile showdown in the men’s 60m against reigning champion Jeremiah Azu and Italy’s Samuele Ceccarelli, the fifth-fastest European of all time in the event.

“This will be my first time competing in Stockholm and I’m really excited to open my season there,” Thompson said. “I’ve heard the field is strong and the atmosphere is amazing, so I’m expecting a really great competition.”

On the women’s side, the Clayton twins arrive in strong form after playing key roles on Jamaica’s silver-medal-winning 4x100m relay team at the 2025 World Championships in Tokyo. Tina Clayton also captured individual silver in the 100m, clocking a blistering 10.76—currently ranking her 15th on the women’s all-time list.

“I’m really looking forward to competing in Stockholm,” Tina Clayton said. “It will be my first time racing indoors there, and I understand the field is going to be strong. Stay tuned!”

As Thompson and the Clayton twins test themselves against world-class competition, all eyes will be on the straightaway to see who delivers an early-season statement on one of the sport’s biggest indoor stages.
