The 2026 AAU Junior Olympic Games have been filled with record-breaking performances, and Kamryn Cooper left her mark in history!

Competing in the Girls 100m Semifinals for the 11-year-old division, Cooper of Space City Track and Field clocked 12.32 seconds to set a new AAU Junior Olympic Games national record.

Her performance broke a record that had stood for more than two decades, marking one of the biggest moments of this year’s event.

Cooper’s historic run continues an unforgettable week of competition as young athletes across the country compete for their chance to make history.
