Emmanuel Wanyonyi has done it again. The Kenyan superstar won the men’s 800m at the 2026 Diamond League Final in Brussels in 1:41.80, completing a stunning four-peat in the championship event.
Wanyonyi has now captured the Diamond Trophy four consecutive times, continuing his remarkable run of dominance in the 800m. His latest victory adds another major accomplishment to a 2026 Diamond League season that has already featured some spectacular performances.

The Olympic and world champion also owns a 1:41.76 season’s best in the 800m, set in Zurich just days before the Brussels Final.
Now, Wanyonyi leaves Brussels with another Diamond League crown and four straight titles, further cementing his status as one of the biggest stars in the event.
