Masai Russell raced to the women’s 100m hurdles title at the World Ultimate Championships, winning in 12.22 ahead of Tobi Amusan and Nadine Visser.

Masai Russell came to Budapest ready to make some noise, and she delivered. The American stormed to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2026 World Ultimate Championships.

Russell wasted little time making her presence felt, powering through the hurdles before crossing the finish line in 12.22 seconds to take the win.

Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan chased her down the track but settled for second in 12.34, while Nadine Visser claimed third in 12.39. Jamaica’s Megan Simmonds added a season-best performance in fifth.

For Russell, it was another chance to show exactly what she can do when the pressure is on. She cleared the hurdles, handled the field and walked away from Budapest with the title.
