Ja’Kobe Tharp won the men’s 110m hurdles at the World Ultimate Championships in 12.94, edging Cordell Tinch by 0.01 seconds in a thrilling finish.

Talk about a finish! Ja’Kobe Tharp narrowly beat fellow American Cordell Tinch in the men’s 110m hurdles at the 2026 World Ultimate Championships in Budapest.

Tharp stopped the clock at 12.94 seconds, just 0.01 ahead of Tinch, who crossed in a season-best 12.95 after the two battled all the way to the line.

Bradley Franklin added another American to the top three in 13.01, while Trey Cunningham finished fourth. The U.S. put four athletes inside the top four.

The final also brought heartbreak for Switzerland’s Jason Joseph and American Jamal Britt, who were both disqualified, leaving Tharp to celebrate a dramatic victory at the finish.
