Meet Wilson Kipsang: Former WR Holder, Top Berlin Marathon Contender

This Sunday, Kenya's Wilson Kipsang will race Eliud Kipchoge and Kenenisa Bekele at the 2017 Berlin Marathon LIVE on FloTrack (in more than 100 countries!) in an attempt to break the world record of 2:02:57, set in Berlin in 2014 by Dennis Kimetto. Get to know Kipsang with the FloFilm Driven series from 2015, when he was preparing to race Kimetto at the 2015 London Marathon. Barely two years earlier, Kipsang had broken the world record with a 2:03:23 win at the 2013 Berlin Marathon only to see it go down the following year. This weekend is the final weekend to qualify for the DI NCAA Indoor Championships where the top-16 individuals in each event will earn a trip to College Station to compete for an NCAA title. The full Team USA roster for the IAAF World Indoor Championships is 98% certain upon conclusion of the USATF Indoor Championships. There's still chance for some flip-flop in certain events, which we made note of below. Athletes in the multi-events and racewalk will be selected at the discretion of the IAAF.
