Drew Hunter and Nicole Sifuentes won the B.A.A. mile titles today in Boston in 4:08.2 and 4:37.2, respectively. The races each included three laps around the city block, beginning and ending on Boylston Street by the finish line for Monday's Boston Marathon.

Hunter and his Tinman Elite teammate, Sam Parsons, controlled the pace up front with Patrick Casey. On the final loop, Dartmouth middle distance coach John Simons and Daniel Herrera of Mexico surpassed Casey and finished second and third in 4:09 and 4:09.2.

While Hunter enjoyed the crowds and atmosphere in Boston this weekend, he's not sticking around to watch the marathon because he has to go to class on Monday. Sifuentes' win today marked her second consecutive title at the B.A.A. Mile. Last year, she established a venue record of 4:33.7. Windy conditions today slowed down the pace—though Sifuentes noted after the race that lack of challengers also impacted the time, as she led wire-to-wire en route to victory.

Shannon Osika took runner-up honors two seconds behind Sifuentes in 4:39.3 and Lauren Johnson was third in 4:41.3.
