JuJu successfully captured the women's 200m Diamond League Title in Brussels with a time of 21.79 seconds despite facing less-than-ideal track and weather conditions. She brushed off the poor weather by stating that a win is a win since all competitors faced the same environment, and she noted that this team decision secured her world ranking and concluded her 200m season. Alfred credited her improved, strong finishes to changes made in the weight room and intense workouts that built her mental and physical strength. While she still favors the 100m, she admitted she has learned to trust and enjoy the 200m more this year after encouragement from her coach and Noah Lyles. Now that the 200m is finished, she plans to spend the next week sharpening her mechanics and returning to a more aggressive mindset as she shifts her full focus to the 100m for the Ultimate Championships.
