She ran the 10k at the Olympics, but now she's back on the roads for the marathon. Brooks athlete Amy Hastings prepares for the NYC Marathon with her cornerstone workout of "tempo" 1.5 mile repeats. Who would want to simulate the last 6.2 miles of a marathon every few weeks? You have to be crazy, crazy good, or maybe just a bit of both (especially if you're running NYC this weekend). Workout: 5 x 1.5 mile @ 1:18 pace w/ 2:30 rest
