Tyler Pennel the man who made the race at US Olympic Marathon Trials

A little after the halfway point in the men's Olympic Trials Marathon Tyler Pennel was the unexpected runner who opened up a lead on the best marathoners in the United States. Pennel's move was the game changer in the race that put away many guys in the field, with the exception of the eventually top 3 (Rupp, Meb, Jared Ward) and Luke Puskedra. Pennel held on for a respectable 5th place and made it know that he is one to watch in the coming years.
