Women's 5k, Heat 1 - Dom Scott 15:25 FTW, Kim Smith Makes Her Return

Watch Dominique Scott run just one second off of the Olympic "A" standard Friday night at the Stanford Invitational. The South African athlete won the women's 5K in 15:25 against a field that included Irish athlete Mary Cullen and three-time Olympian Kim Smith. Smith's performance marked her first race on the track in three years and a huge comeback after foot surgery, giving birth to her child, and returning after a life-threatening pulmonary embolism.
