Saucony Flo50 XC Countdown: #11 Notre Dame Women
Check out the Saucony Flo50 XC Countdown, where FloTrack ranks the top 31 cross country teams in the NCAA this season. The No. 11 spot goes to Notre Dame this year, and here's why:

Probable Top Five:
SO Anna Rohrer (9:11 3K; 15:32 5K; 6th at '15 NCAA XC)
SO Rachel DaDamino (4:23 1500; 16:21 5K; 96th at '15 NCAA XC)
SR Lexi Pelletier (9:31 3K; 16:13 5K; 34:02 10K)
JR Ashlyn Rambo (9:48 3K; 16:24 5K; 160th at '15 NCAA XC)
SO Annie Heffernan (4:49 Mile; 9:29 3K; 138th at '15 NCAA XC)

Impact Freshmen/Transfers:
Maryjeanne Gilbert via Peoria, IL (4:53 1600; 10:23 3200; 16:28 5K, 2nd at '15 FL XC)
Kathleen Darling via Wake Forest University (16:34 5K; 34:42 10K)

Analysis:
Notre Dame is losing their NCAA champion Molly Seidel but returns a team that could do some damage come November.

Anna Rohrer made her college debut with a bang by finishing sixth at the NCAA Cross Country Championships--right behind senior Seidel. On the track, Rohrer clocked a runner-up finish and a world junior lead of 15:32 at the ACC Indoor Championships, and continued her breakthrough indoor season with a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Indoors. She suffered from injury, and didn't compete during the outdoor season until the USATF Junior Championships, where she finished second to Fiona O'Keefe. She competed at the World Junior Championships a few weeks later, where she notched an 11th-place finish in 15:49.

Watch the trailer for ON THE RISE: Anna Rohrer:

Rohrer will be joined by a number of interchangeable parts in distance talents Rachel DaDamino, Lexi Pelletier, Ashlyn Rambo, Annie Heffernan, Kathleen Darling, and star freshman Maryjeanne Gilbert. DaDamino, Pelletier, and Rambo have all run under 16:24 for 5K while Heffernan has the 4:49 and 9:29 closing speed to contend. Gilbert comes to Notre Dame after finishing runner-up at the 2015 Foot Locker Championships. Darling, a transfer from Wake Forest could also be a factor after notching a 5K personal best of 16:34 on the track last season.
