Although the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics has only just begun over in Houston, Texas, it's never too early to start planning the next trip.

The location varies year by year, and the lineup of host cities for the next eight years have been determined already. 

Each year, the nation's top youth track and field athletes from ages eight to 18 compete in a variety of events across the week in hopes of breaking records and beginning their careers. 

Looking ahead, here's the next eight locations and dates for each year of the AAU Junior Olympics.

  • 2026 - Des Moines, Iowa, July 29 - August 8, 2026
  • 2027 - Houston, Texas, July 28 - August 7, 2027
  • 2028 - Baltimore, Maryland, July 26 - August 5, 2028
  • 2029 - Greensboro, North Carolina, July 25 - August 4, 2029
  • 2030 - Des Moines, Iowa, July 24 - August 3, 2030 
  • 2031 - Houston, Texas, July 23 - August 2, 2031
  • 2032 - Baltimore, Maryland, July 28 - August 7, 2032
  • 2033 - Greensboro, North Carolina, July 27 - August 6, 2033
