Asher Denman of Pearland Speed Track Club wasted no time setting a new national record in the 8-under boys 200M dash, the first solo event of the day on August 1 at the 2025 AAU Junior Olympics. 

With a time of 27.26, Denman now holds the National and Junior Olympic games record in the event.
