Faith Kipyegon To Race Monaco Diamond League 3000m in 2026
Faith Kipyegon will race the 3,000m at the Monaco Diamond League meeting on July 10.

Yesterday, it was announced that Faith Kipyegon would race the 3000m at the Monaco Diamond League meeting on July 10.
On February 15, Kipyegon ran a 29:47 Road 10K in Monaco. July will mark her next return to the small country and her first time returning to the Monaco Diamond League meeting since 2023.

At 32-years-old, Kipyegon owns the world records in the 1500m and Mile, with her 3:48.68 mark at the 2025 Prefontaine Classic and her 4:07.64 Mile from the Monaco Diamond League meeting back in 2023.
She currently has a personal best of 8:07.04 over the 3000m distance. She posted that mark at the Diamond League Meeting in Silesia, last year.
She capped her 2025 season with a win at the World Championships in the 1500m and a silver over the 5000m distance.
