This morning, it was announced that Melissa Jefferson-Wooden, Julien Alfred, and Amy Hunt will clash at the Rome Diamond League in the women's 200m.

US Audiences can watch the Rome Diamond League LIVE on FloTrack, on June 4.

Just last week, the Rome Golden Gala announced that Noah Lyles will headline the 100m at the Rome Diamond League meeting. Today, the Rome Golden Gala announced three more sprint stars - headed to Italy in June.

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden will be considered the top seed in this affair.

She ended her 2025 season with triple gold at the 2025 World Outdoor Championships. She won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m titles. At the World Championships, Jefferon-Wooden tied Flojo's American Record in the 100m, running 10.61. She also became the fourth fastest women in American History over the 200m distance with her 21.68.

Julien Alfred earned a Bronze at the World Outdoor Championships in the 100m. She did win the 200m at the London Diamond League meeting on July 19. In 2024, Alfred won Olympic Gold in the 100m and silver in the 200m.

Most recently, she earned a bronze medal in the 60m at the World Indoor Championships last month.

Amy Hunt will certainly join them in the conversation. She earned Silver in the 200m at the Tokyo World Championships with her 22.14 effort.
