The NCAA D1 Outdoor Track and Field Championship 2023 is halfway done and the collegiate athletes have exceeded all expectations. Athletes from all around the world are in Austin, Texas to compete at Michael A. Myers Stadium. 

Countless personal records have already been broken and the tension is building as the second half of the meet starts Friday, June 8. The rest of the weekend with feature only final races for the men's and women’s division.

NCAA Track and Field Championships Day 2 Recap

The 2023 NCAA Track and Field Championships entered a weather delay on Day 2 of the meet with lighting and thunderstorm warnings. Day 3's schedule is not affected by Thursday’s time changes. 

Day 2 of the NCAA Track and Field Championship concluded the majority of the field events for the women’s division. Meanwhile, Britton Wilson won both the 400m and 400m hurdles - and made it look easy

Harvard swept the hammer throw crowning Stephanie Ratcliffe and Kenneth Ikeji as champion. 

Momentum is expected to continue on Day 3 as the men’s division will compete in a day full of finals.

The NCAA Track And Field Outdoor Championships are on ESPN2. Coverage for the first day begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Thursday coverage is at 8:30 p.m., Friday at 9 p.m. and Saturday at 9 p.m.

The entire meet, including afternoon events, is streaming on ESPN+.

The NCAA DI Track and Field Outdoor Championship is a four day event from June 7-10. The men's and women's division will compete every day in semi-final, final and decathlon events.
